New Executive Recruitment Business Launched by Hariley Solutions

A brand-new business focused on senior-level and boardroom recruitment has been launched by Hariley Solutions, one of the region’s fastest-growing recruitment firms.

Hariley Solutions Executive will provide a discreet and highly personalised recruitment service for companies across the UK looking to attract experienced leadership talent. The new venture is based out of Hariley’s offices in Telford and Wolverhampton and signals a bold step into the executive search market for the well-established firm.

The new business will be headed up by Edd Cooke, who joins the company as Director. With extensive experience in high-level recruitment, Edd will lead a trusted senior team which includes Hariley’s existing directors Ryan Wheeler, Clare Wheeler, Stuart Mackintosh, and Matt Phelan.

“This isn’t about volume, it’s about value,” said Edd. “Executive recruitment is a completely different world. It requires confidentiality, credibility, and the ability to truly understand what a business needs beyond the job title. Our goal is to provide that kind of high-trust service to companies that are growing, evolving, or undergoing change at the top.”

The decision to create a dedicated executive search function follows growing demand from existing clients, many of whom have asked the Hariley team to support senior appointments in areas such as operations, finance, logistics, and strategic leadership.

Founder and Managing Director Ryan Wheeler said the new business was a natural next step for the business.

“Over the past few years, we’ve built strong partnerships with employers across the Midlands and beyond, and a lot of those relationships have grown as the businesses have. We’re increasingly being asked to find people who can lead, not just manage – and that’s where the idea for Hariley Executive came from.”

While the core Hariley brand will continue to focus on temporary and permanent recruitment in industrial, clerical and transport sectors, the Executive arm will operate separately, handling assignments for senior management, director-level and C-suite roles across a range of industries.

The focus, the team says, will be on quality over quantity – taking the time to understand the culture and long-term direction of a business before approaching candidates, many of whom will not be actively looking for a new role.

“There’s a real appetite for a more thoughtful, more human approach to executive recruitment,” said Stuart Mackintosh. “Too often it’s seen as transactional. What we’re doing is the opposite of that – we’re building something that’s all about trust and fit.”
