Job Description:

As the Warehouse Shift Coordinator you will ensure organisation of staffing schedules, leading a team of 4-8 Warehouse Operatives to ensure that day to day activities meet required targets on time and in full.

This will be a working role leading by example. Reporting directly to the Deputy Warehouse Manager and taking on overall responsibility when the DWM is absent.

3on 3off Days

Responsibilities:

Health & Safety inc Housekeeping

Maintain safe working practices and environment.

Assisting with Investigation reports

Understand warehouse compliance regulations

Communication relating to H&S to immediate team

Stock control, material flow and fleet management

Monitor and communicate reports to immediate team

Safe, accurate and effective storage of goods

Oversee team performance and fleet utilisation

Daily Control of goods in/out process

Team organisation and development

Identify and report training requirements

Ensure communication flow throughout the team

Out of hours’ co-ordination of the team

Identify and report improvement opportunities

Deputise for the DWM when required

Required knowledge, skills and experience:

Demonstrable experience in a medium to large fast moving consumer goods manufacturing company

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Experience of working to achieve multiple deadlines

IOSH qualification

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within the team and at all levels internally and externally

Experience of using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Current, valid counterbalance and reach FLT licence

Experience of COSHH and control measures associated with this

Knowledge and understanding of KPI tracking and reporting
