Location: Birmingham

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Job Description:

We are currently working on behalf of a rapidly growing, digitally-driven organisation to appoint an experienced Product Information Management (PIM) Manager. This is a key strategic role within a high-performing Digital/Ecommerce function, offering the opportunity to shape and optimise product data at scale.

The Opportunity
Reporting into senior digital leadership, you will take full ownership of the PIM platform, driving data governance, accuracy and enrichment across a complex, high-volume product catalogue. You will play a critical role in ensuring product information is seamlessly distributed across all sales, marketing and operational channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the PIM platform, acting as the internal subject matter expert
  • Define and implement robust product data governance, standards and processes
  • Oversee the onboarding, enrichment and maintenance of large-scale product data
  • Manage product hierarchies, taxonomy, attributes and relationships
  • Coordinate data workflows, validation rules and approvals
  • Act as the key liaison between PIM and integrated systems (ERP, Ecommerce, DAM, CMS)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising and IT
  • Drive continuous improvement in data quality, efficiency and automation
  • Support digital transformation initiatives and platform enhancements

About You

  • Proven experience in a PIM-focused role (PIM Manager, Product Data Manager or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Pimberly, Plytix, Akeneo, Salsify or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of product data structures, taxonomy and governance
  • Experience managing high-volume product catalogues
  • Confident working within ecommerce and omnichannel environments
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail

Desirable Experience

  • Integration experience with ERP, DAM, marketplaces or ecommerce platforms
  • Familiarity with APIs, data feeds and system integrations
  • Exposure to international or multi-brand catalogues
  • Understanding of SEO and product content optimisation
