Role: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Halesowen
Hourly Rate: £16.25 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 06:00-16:00

About the Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance Team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic press systems and other on-site machinery. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preventive and reactive maintenance of hydraulic press systems.
- Promptly responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Supporting engineering and maintenance across the site.
- Servicing and monitoring hydraulic systems.
- Implementing improvement projects to enhance press reliability.
- Assisting in training apprentices as part of the team’s growth.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Analytical and logical reasoning skills.
- A Level 3 NVQ/BTEC qualification (or equivalent).
- A strong engineering background, particularly in heavy plant equipment.
- Proven expertise in hydraulic press operation.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
