Machine Operator

Location: Newport TF10

Starting Hourly Rate: £11.70 (increases after 12 weeks)

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, working 4 out of 6 days per week (Monday-Saturday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery to produce high-quality products according to production schedules and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address any concerns or issues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation to commute to Newport TF10 for scheduled shifts.
