About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator in Stoke-On-Trent.
Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in planning deliveries, managing transport, and supporting the day-to-day logistics operations within a busy and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and book deliveries with couriers, hauliers, and third-party providers
- Maintain accurate records and follow health & safety standards
- Prepare proof of delivery and import/export documentation
- Investigate and resolve operational issues
- Handle customer and supplier calls
- Check supplier invoices and update purchase orders
- Despatch orders within Sage
- Manage logistics non-conformances and raise haulier claims
- Support other departments with operational tasks
- Liaise with sites to confirm delivery requirements
About You
- Strong attention to detail and good administration skills
- Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident dealing with people at all levels
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with stock control systems and import/export (desirable)
