HGV Class 2 Driver Stoke
Pay: £13.45-£17.20 per hour
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a temp-perm opportunity in Stoke.
- 1 year experience required
- Mon-Fri (occasional weekends)
- Day shifts (42.5 hours minimum)
- £13.45p/h Mon-Fri (overtime higher for Mon-Fri + weekends)
- Full-time position

Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all safety checks are completed thoroughly.
- Secure cargo properly, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety laws, traffic regulations, and company policies during driving operations.
- Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to ensure swift resolution and compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven 1 year experience as a HGV Class 2 driver
- Demonstrable knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.
