Talent Acquisition Partner

Talent Acquisition Partner

Location: Wednesbury (Hybrid – 1 day WFH once fully trained)
Hours: Part-time – 20 to 30 hours per week, over 5 days
Salary: Up to £35,000 pro rata
Sector: UK Manufacturing

The Opportunity

Our client’s Talent Acquisition team is going through an exciting period of transformation, with this newly evolved function playing a critical role in the organisation’s continued success. They are now looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition Partner to help shape how they attract, engage and hire talent.

This is not a traditional recruitment role. Rather than focusing solely on filling vacancies, this position takes a strategic, brand-led approach to talent acquisition, building awareness, reputation and long-term talent pipelines.

You’ll help position the business as a great place to work, attracting high-quality candidates who align with the organisation’s culture, values and long-term mission.

The Role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will understand that the candidate journey begins long before a vacancy exists. You’ll develop and deliver recruitment marketing strategies, using modern tools and techniques to attract and engage top talent within the UK manufacturing sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies
  • Creating engaging content including job adverts, social media posts, blogs, testimonials, case studies, emails and video content
  • Telling a consistent and compelling employer brand story through targeted campaigns
  • Building and nurturing talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
  • Engaging directly with potential candidates to understand motivations and assess mutual fit
  • Working closely with hiring managers as a consultative partner to build high-performing teams
  • Identifying opportunities to attend job fairs, host events or use alternative attraction methods
  • Tracking, analysing and optimising the full candidate journey to continuously improve results
  • Streamlining and automating recruitment processes and adopting new tools and technologies where appropriate

You will be the face of the organisation to prospective hires, representing its values and reputation in every interaction. Your impact will be visible and directly linked to the company’s ambitious growth plans.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll be naturally people-centric and confident building strong relationships. You’ll be comfortable working autonomously and resourceful in delivering results, while also recognising when collaboration is key.

You will:

  • Be a strong communicator, storyteller and content creator
  • Take a consultative, partnership-based approach with stakeholders
  • Be curious, proactive and comfortable challenging the status quo
  • Thrive in a changing environment and enjoy testing new ideas
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence, self-awareness and humility
  • Be a critical thinker who learns quickly and solves problems creatively
  • Bring energy, enthusiasm and pride to your work

Given the scope of the role, candidates considering the upper end of the part-time hours (closer to 30 per week) may find this allows them to deliver most effectively, although flexibility is available depending on experience.

Working Pattern

This role is primarily site-based in Wednesbury, with the opportunity to work one day per week from home once fully trained.

Why Join?

This organisation truly believes that people deliver results and therefore invests heavily in its people. You’ll be joining a collaborative, values-driven business with ambitious growth plans and a genuine commitment to development, inclusion and wellbeing.

Benefits include:

  • 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays
  • Company pension matched up to 10%
  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance (6x annual salary)
  • Health cash plan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Free on-site parking
  • Access to a wide range of retail discounts and incentives
