Health & Safety Manager
Salary: Up to £45-55k (plus vehicle / package)
Location: Multi-site / Regional (work across social housing projects)
We are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager to join our growing team, supporting social housing and construction works across occupied and tenanted properties. This is a hands-on role for a proactive professional with a strong construction background and a passion for driving real, practical safety improvements on site.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct regular site inspections across social housing projects
- Identify risks, gaps and improvements—and lead delivery of solutions
- Work closely with operatives, site teams, contracts managers and clients
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, accreditations and audit requirements
- Drive continuous improvement through best practice and positive safety behaviours
- Lead and support CDM compliance, RAMS, investigations & reporting
- Use in-house systems to streamline safety processes and reporting
- Help strengthen a proactive, safety-first culture across the business
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in social housing & construction
- Background with a Tier 1 contractor or similar preferred
- Comfortable working in occupied / tenanted properties
- Highly practical, solution-driven and confident on site
- NEBOSH General Certificate & SMSTS (or equivalent / higher)
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations, RAMS & site safety culture
- Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong IT confidence—we use modern systems and expect the same mindset
- Full UK driving licence (travel required)
