Stores Person / Forklift Driver (Night Shift)

Location: Wednesbury

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Friday: 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM

Pay Rates £11.44

• 42.5 hours per week (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Stores Person / Forklift Driver to join our client’s fast-paced warehouse team on the night shift. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong forklift and warehouse experience to work in a supportive and safety-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operations: Safely operate a forklift (counterbalance, preferably with 4-way experience) to load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves.
• Inventory Management: Use the warehouse management system to monitor and track stock, booking items in and out of inventory as needed.
• Shipping & Receiving: Prepare and manage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine equipment checks, reporting any maintenance needs to ensure smooth operations.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Forklift Proficiency: Experience operating a counterbalance forklift, ideally with additional 4-way forklift experience.
• Warehouse Expertise: Knowledgeable in warehouse management systems, with experience in inventory tracking, shipping, and receiving.
• Physical Fitness: Able to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent focus and attention to accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Math Skills: Essential for inventory tracking and order preparation.
