Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm (42.5hrs)

Working as part of our dynamic and rapidly growing company as a Sales and Technical Support Advisor.  In this vital role, you will be an integral member of our sales team, contributing to our continued success in a fast-paced environment.  Your responsibilities will go beyond traditional sales duties, as you will also be the go-to expert for our customers, offering them the technical guidance they need to make informed decisions.  By combining your customer service experience with your growing technical knowledge, you will help us build strong relationships with our customers, ensuring they receive not only excellent service but also the support necessary to maximise sales.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support:

  • Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Adapt your approach to effectively meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
  • Accurately process customer orders received via telephone and email.
  • Handle customer complaints courteously and professionally.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate repeat sales.
  • Source products, negotiate terms with suppliers, and establish pricing to win business.
  • Utilise our user-friendly order processing system and customer service ticket management system to process customer orders and customer service requests.

Technical Support

  • Offer technical assistance and troubleshooting support to customers via phone, email, or chat.
  • Help customers find the products they need by using manufactures parts diagrams, partner portals and internal resources.
  • Collaborate with our senior technical team to solve more complex enquiries.
  • Receive continuous training in-house and together with our brand partners.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer experiences and technical challenges, to keep the ever-growing product range up to date and ensure it meets evolving market needs.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a busy sales / customer service team.
  • Experience working with parts systems is desirable but full training is provided.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and meet targets and deadlines.
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to new procedures and ways of working.
