We are seeking a New Business Development Engineer / Sales Engineer to join our client in Kingswinford. In this hybrid role, you’ll work autonomously to develop new business streams with both existing and new customers, while also expanding into new markets. The position offers future opportunities for growth into management, and after 5 years, a potential Director appointment and share options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities with current and new customers.
- Explore new marketplaces for existing product lines.
- Identify new applications for our existing products in both current and emerging markets.
- Report directly to the Managing Director, working autonomously with the support of the Marketing Director and a sales administrator.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industrial/manufacturing marketplace.
- Engineering background with practical, hands-on ability is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to work independently and generate business opportunities.
- Strong motivation and drive to succeed.
What We Offer:
- Basic salary of £25,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission based on new business sales, with an excellent earning potential.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with office presence required once per week.
- Enjoy a 4-day workweek from Monday to Thursday, with shorter hours on Fridays after bank holidays.
