We are currently recruiting for a junior contract manager, working across the group units supporting the procurement of IT products and services, and the management plus administration of contracts. Reporting to the Group IT Procurement Manager, the role will support the management and administration of IT contracts in place with Group suppliers. This role will suit someone coming from a contract analyst/junior contract manager role, who is seeking more exposure into IT contract management and procurement.

Responsibilities:

Ownership of administering the upload of contract dates and key details onto the Service Now platform to support the Procurement strategy to fully utilise its investment in the Service Now platform

Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: support in the preparation/review of contract documents to ensure they meet legal standards and company policies

Monitoring Contract Performance: Keeping track of contract milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure compliance and performance

Maintaining Contract Records: Organising and maintaining a comprehensive database of all contracts and related documentation onto the Service Now platform to support the Procurement strategy to fully utilise its investment in the Service Now platform

Supporting Negotiations: Assisting in contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to secure favourable terms

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring that all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations, and identifying potential risks

Collaboration: Working closely with various departments such as legal, procurement, and finance to align contract terms with business objectives

Assistance with the procurement lifecycle including, but not limited to, obtaining competitive quotes, purchasing including raising purchase orders, managing/processing invoices, managing supplier delivery times/logistics and supply issues

Supporting the end-to-end provision of mobile phones to users from order to receipt

Support in undertaking bespoke supplier management activities as required

Responsible for monitoring spend against budget on an on-going basis as required. This may include facilitating regular reviews with budget holders and finance to ensure timely production of accurate, meaningful analysis of supplier spend, classified by category and technology team. Providing updates to the Management Team
