Our client in the Wednesbury area is expanding and has an exciting opportunity for a skilled MIG Welder to join their team. This is a temporary-to-permanent position ideal for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of welding experience, particularly within the automotive sector.
Key Details:
- Location: Wednesbury
- Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour, rising to £14.00 per hour after 12 weeks
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)
- Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MIG welding on a variety of automotive vehicles and components
- Ensure precision and accuracy in welds to meet industry standards
- Work within a team to maintain safety standards and efficiency in the production process
- Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement and quality control
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in the automotive sector would be beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety practices
